A high-quality brochure was produced for NRMA Phillip Island Beachfront Holiday Park, designed to promote local sightseeing with a family-friendly scavenger hunt for guests.
The aim was to create an engaging, visually appealing piece that reflected NRMA Parks and Resorts’ established branding, including their colour palette, typography, and tone of voice.
The design was suited to an A4 folded brochure that balanced playful energy with brand consistency.
My approach began with establishing a strong visual direction.
I created custom digital illustrations of Phillip Island's wildlife in Adobe Illustrator, using tints and shades of the NRMA brand colours to maintain cohesion. To ensure accuracy, I incorporated Google Maps references to illustrate Phillip Island’s key landmarks and layout. Clear typographic hierarchy played an important role in guiding readers through the activity instructions, ensuring that families of all ages could easily understand how to take part in the scavenger hunt.
The brochure also needed to include promotional information for local businesses and clear directions for participating in the game. I structured the content so that the promotional elements supported the experience without overwhelming the main activity. The final result was a polished, engaging brochure that combined illustration, mapping, brand alignment, and clear communication—delivering a fun, informative resource for visitors and a strong promotional asset for the park.
