Photographer, mum and self confessed chocoholic, this is me, Leisa Hale.
My story as a photographer stared like this… I worked as a travel agent for many years before I realised that life was too short to be doing work I really didn’t enjoy. So I took a massive leap and enrolled in a Diploma of Arts-Photography at Moreton Institute of TAFE and graduated in 2001. I have been working as a photographer ever since and have loved every minute of it.
As you can imagine I now have a vast portfolio of work consisting of travel, portraiture, fine art and landscape photography some of which I have even won some awards for. I have tried many different positions as a photographer, from owning my very own photography gallery in Huskisson, Jervis Bay to working for studios in Sydney, Brisbane and Ireland. My work has been featured in magazines such as Vintage Bride, Women’s Health and Fitness, Backpacker and Lotta just to name a few.
More recently since becoming a mum in early 2010 I have moved back to Queensland, and focused primarily on my real passion… photographing people doing what they love. Be that in love, life or work I can be there to capture the real essence of the moment for people.
When I’m not working, I am usually down at the beach with my cheeky little Miss Ella and my boisterous Labrador Ozzie.
